Become a Volunteer
Volunteering with CLP is a chance to make a real difference in your local community while gaining skills, confidence and connection. Our volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and support our work in many ways, including our social supermarket, community garden, groups and events.
We value people’s time and experience, provide support and guidance, and aim to create volunteering opportunities that are welcoming, inclusive and meaningful. Whether you want to give a little time regularly or help with specific activities, volunteering at CLP is about being part of a trusted community space and contributing to a more equal and thriving Eastwood.

Green
Fingers?
We’re always looking for friendly, hands-on volunteers to help bring our community garden to life. Whether you enjoy growing vegetables, caring for plants, or are curious about working with our beehives, there’s something for everyone—no experience needed.
It’s a great way to spend time outdoors, learn new skills, and connect with others while supporting local families. Even a couple of hours can make a real difference.
Can you
help us?
At CLP we raise money for our charitable activities through applying for funds and through donations. We are always on the lookout for:
-
Food and toiletries for our social supermarket
-
Resources to support activities for children and young people, whether that be at our playgroup, youth clubs or holiday activities
-
Compost and gardening equipment to support our volunteers’ work in our allotment
